Sport Psychology Sessions

1 on 1 sport and exercise psychology sessions to assist with enhancing performance

What is Sport Psychology?

Sport and Exercise Psychology is a proficiency that uses psychological knowledge and skills to address optimal performance and well-being of the participant.

The importance of psychology is becoming more well known and the majority of top sporting teams now have a sport psychologist attached to their team. It is clear the key role our mind plays in sport and exercise. If you listen to any interview with successful athletes and manage it's rare they will not mention the "mental" or psychological side of performance.

We use something called Psychological Skills Training to improve our mental skills in sport and exercise settings.

Psychological skills training refers to the structured and consistent practice of mental or psychological skills with a purpose of increasing performance, enjoyment, or achieving a greater self-satisfaction.
